The University Grants Commission (UGC) has issued a directive to higher education institutions (HEIs) to arrange for students to experience the live broadcast of the Chandrayaan-3 moon landing, scheduled for August 23, 2023, at approximately 6:04 PM.

In the capital city of New Delhi, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has formally urged higher education institutions (HEIs) to coordinate special gatherings and motivate both students and educators to participate in and observe the LIVE stream of the Chandrayaan-3 Mission’s soft-landing on the moon. UGC has asked universities to conduct these live streaming gatherings between 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM.

According to the University Grants Commission, “The imminent landing of India’s Chandrayaan-3 is a momentous occasion that will not only pique curiosity but also ignite a passion for exploration among our young minds.
